I smell that as well when I'm really pushing it (which is pretty much always). I assume it's just the heat smell from the engine. I don't know if there's technically such a thing though. I wouldn't classify it as a clutch smell though.

Could be the clutch if you're not shifting smoothly. Why are you only revving to 6000 rpm?

Sounds like the clutch is burning a little....if you do it everytime you drive, you will kill the clutch. It's best not to push over 5500 rpm in 2nd gear. I rev pretty hard too but keep under 5500 rpm. The exhaust bypass valve opens above 4000 rpm...can't get too much louder unless you mod exhaust with super sports.

Clutch, mine went away. I don't think the previous owner drove my car hard.... I got that smell on the test drive when I was hitting it hard on the freeway. Only does it now if I reverse up a driveway...

That's not true. The stock clutch is weak, but you can rev to redline (7300 rpm) in any gear. I did it every day when my car was stock, and I still do it every time I drive the car although I have an upgraded clutch.
