Make sure you remove the fuse from the the Boot/Trunk fusebox.
You will lose some engine torque at low revs, but most people do not notice this.

Fuse 22 supplies power to the vaccum solenoid to keep the exhaust bypass valves open, therefore the exhaust tone is kept constant from 1500 revs to 3000 revs.

Correct! The low end torque loss is hardly noticeable , but the sound change is very noticeable .
