The best loaner car I ever got from the Aston dealership was a Chevy Traverse. I got a Ford Fusion before that.

As with many of you, my interest in the Vantage is the appeal of a fast, sexy, unique car. It's not as fast, or as loud, or as expensive as some of it's contemporaries. Hell, a Lexus has more do-dads.

What it is, is a STATEMENT. Iconic lines, stylish, timeless, well-conceived, luxurious, well-built, and unique. There is nothing quite like it when you or a guest sit in it for the first time. You know that you are in something special.

Others may pass me, but what they leave in the dust is STYLE.

There's always going to be a faster car, somewhere in the neighborhood, most likely a tuned Sti, Evo or Honda of some sort so it's as you say about STYLE and it is a hell of a STATEMENT

Iconic lines, stylish, timeless, well-conceived, luxurious, well-built, and unique.

Banton, you sum it up well!

My last car was a rocket ship (see below). It would blow most cars away with the greatest of ease. Unfortunately, that's about all that was cool about it. The vantage is much more of a complete package.

I like the Z06, but I don't think I could convince myself to get one. As far as performance for the dollar it's tough to beat. I pointed one out to my gf one day when I was shopping for the Vantage. Her response was, "Well if you get that, I wouldn't have to worry about you picking up any girls." That pretty much sums it up. You will be able to go fast but everyone else will think you're a Jack-wagon and won't care.

Haha, especially in yellow.

I much prefer them in black or gunmetal.....just dont look as cheap IMO. They are great driving cars though and I would love one for fun at the track.

I've owned 2 Vantages, and I am presenty in an R8 Spyder. Both are fantastic cars. The sound of the Vantage engine is intoxicating. The R8 outperforms it though (V10 version) and the styling turns way more heads. You can't go wrong either way though!
