SportShift downshift

Will the Sports shift let you downshift to a lower gear that results in an overrev? If I was going 65 in lets say 3rd and I hit down a gear instead of up a gear will the comuter prevent the down shift if it would result in a over rev?

No it wouldn't allow it. I don't have a SS but this is pretty universal for any automatic or automated manual with computer control.

watchrabbit is infamous around these parts
Tahoe is right. It won't down shift. Neither will it upshift, if the rev is too low (under 2krpm)
