You are quite correct. You can get all this and much more from AM tech site for a nominal charge. As for 'intellectual property', that is more a matter of opinion. Porsche FREEly distributes it's parts manuals. Heck, we own the car, surely we should be allowed to see the parts - we can always take our cars apart and look. Workshop manuals, OBD2 strategies etc are a whole different story. I recommend you get all the info you want at https://www.astonmartintechinfo.com/login.aspx

What Porsche does or doesn't do is irrelevant. You don't get to decide what is and isn't AM IP. If AM wanted you to have the parts manuals for free, then they'd be free on their tech site, but they aren't. Seems clear cut to me. Anyone who can afford an AM can afford to support AM by purchasing the data, not mooching it off someone else.
A number of parts catalogues are available on the AM site for free. Older models only at present. eg:

There is no claim or marking in reference to copy or resale rights on these documents.
