Wristwatch for Aston

Does anyone have the J-L watch that controls the DBS? I would like to know how well it works. Useful, or just a curiosity? Any way to retrofit onto an '09 V8V.

Aside from cars, I guess I have a watch buying illness also....

If I recall correctly, the only way you could get one was with the purchase of the DBS, and it cost about $50K! They introduced a DB9 version in November of last year that was available for order at about $24K. Don't know if it's still available though. I'd be interested to hear how well it worked too.

I have a wristwatch addiction as well. I own a JLC AMVOX1, which I actually purchased long before I bought an Aston Martin. I have been wearing it non-stop since I bought my Vantage.

Aston Watch

I think the JL only works with the DBS. I am a watch guy also and have both Casino Royale Omegas to go with my Vantage roadster. (Rossa Corsa w/Sahara). Cars and watches are an addiction that seem to go together. Any other car-watch combinations? Ken

AMVOX2 DBS (Transponder) watch has a transmitter incorporated which allows you lock/unlock a DBS.

PS -
Via a forum, I know someone who owns the AMVOX2 DBS, only complaint he mentioned was the fact you had to be quite close to the car for it to lock & unlock. (Converted to US dollars, he paid $36k)

I had a conversation with a watch person who thought that in theory, the transponder in the watch should be programmable to accept any signal that AM has because they are all the same mechanism. The question is weather AM and JLC would be willing to do something custom and how hard they would rock you on the price. I don't care for the JLC enough to start the conversation.

Yeah, it is. I got one for my son for highschool graduation and he broke it.

JK, April Fools.

That watch is about $300,000 MSRP. Only 2 words to describe that: In sane.

What a coicidence. The watch in the photo is an Omega - Co-axial chronoscope. I put the red band on in honor of the new V8V.
