Brake pad size
Hi,
I've been reading through the day on brake pad threads on the forum. The first session of the track season is next week and I'm going to take the V8V instead of the Elise. I have silent and deathly quite pads (knock on wood) but am certain to run through them fairly quickly on track.
I have decided on trying a set of Hawk DTC pads next, unless there are other suggestions. My question is regarding this statement:

Can you help me get educated on the numbering system and what that means when cross pollinating between cars?

1001 in front (same as Subaru STI if you need to search different sites/manufacturers)
592 in rear (same as a 92-02 Viper)"
