Thanks for responding with this information. However, I did not buy this particular car. I ended up buying a 2007 V8V from an Aston dealership in Atlanta, GA. The dealership had all the service records, and I purchased an extended warranty through Aston Martin, which required an inspection prior to issuing the warranty. You sound like you work in an Aston service department? Thanks Again

Smart decision not to buy the Vantage with all of the problems. That seemd like way to much to be wrong with the car at only 10K+ miles.

Thanks for your reply. I decided not to buy that particular car, as I also felt there were too many problems for so few miles. Sometimes one is better to spend a little more money to know what your getting. I ended up buying a one-owner car from an Aston dealer in Atlanta, GA that had more miles than the other, but is probably a much nicer car with a service history from that dealership. According to records, the original owner, who by the way purchased another Aston, kept the car serviced regularly, and had some items replaced per service bulletins under warranty. I've been driving the car 3 to 4 days a week with no issues to date. I did purchase an Aston extended warranty.
