Fuse 19 missing in new 2010 Vantage

The manual says that fuse 19 is a battery feed and my power mirrors are not working. I can't even move the mirrors internally with the driver's side controls.

I was looking at fuse 22 and noticed it was still in, but fuse 19 was missing.

Could this be my problem with the mirrors? Any other ideas on what fuse 19's purpose?

I believe they changed from fuse 22 to fuse 19 on some of the newer cars (can't remember the year). On my '07 it is listed as a spare. Sounds like someone may have pulled the wrong fuse on yours. Simple enough... pop in a spare and see if it solves the problem.

Fuse 22 is now fuse 15 on the newer cars. No idea as to the purpose of fuse 19. Why not replace it and see if it resolves the problem?

Can I just pull fuse 22 and put fuse 22 in the fuse 19 slot? Wasn't sure they were interchangeable.

I don't know what fuse 22 does on your car so I can't say. Also, you need to make sure that you use the correct amperage fuse. Some are 10A fuses and others are 15A fuses.

If fuse 22 on your car controls the flaps and if it is the same amperage as fuse 19, you could just move it. Doing so would give you the louder exhaust note.

Looking at the circuit diagrams for the 10MY V8V, shows that Fuse19 in the boot fusebox is unused. There is no correlation between Fuse 19 and your non-functioning power mirrors.

UPDATE:

Service tech told me to press both the left and right mirror button simultaneously on the interior control panel for the mirrors. It somehow brought the mirrors to life and now everything works perfectly!

Congratulations on the new car.

Any first impressions on the '10 vs the '07?

Thanks!

Yes, the 2010 is noticeably quicker from a stop and throughout shifts. AM did a great job improving the prior 4.3. I didn't think the 40 extra hp would seem that much different, but it really adds that extra hp I craved with the 2007.

Could someone confirm which year the change occurred? Is the only for the V12 or does this also apply for the V8's?

My owners manual for my MY2010 - is still showing Fuse 22 for the Exhaust bypass.

Thks

I looked at the circuit diagrams. Until 10.5MY they still had Fuse 22 for the exhaust bypass valve. In 11MY they switched to Fuse 15. Also, the 11MY V12V uses Fuse 15.

Cheers.
