Questions for DBS Owners
Trying to pin down the standard spec for early DBS models (MY08/09). So what do you have for the following?
1) Steering wheel material
2) Tread plate finish
3) Instrument hood material
4) Upper fascia (nav unit)
5) Upper console (radio surround)
6) Lower console (shifter surround)
7) Door caps
8) Inner door handles
9) Trunk carpet color
10) Does trunk carpet match the interior carpet color
Some of this is covered in Grant's book, but not all, because later model years seem to have revised specs. I'm really interested in the car interior as delivered by the factory (i.e., not special orders).

Hi Steve, it is in there - Standard spec -
1) Steering wheel material - black leather
2) Tread plate finish - as per pg 145/148, like the DB9's with a leather surround for the build plaque, but in black alloy.
3) Instrument hood material - leather to colour choice
4) Upper fascia - Matrix alloy
5) Upper console - Iridium Silver outer (black inner)
6) Lower console- Iridium Silver 4/5/6 shown on lower image page 143.
7) Door caps - carbon fibre
8) Inner door handles - black finish to match the carbon fibre grab handles.
9) Trunk carpet color - I believe DBS is as per inside colour choice.
Hope this helps, I'm sure a few owners will along in a minute, but there are many optional variations possible!

I don't think this is true. I believe all DBS's came thru with black Alcantara steering wheels as standard (at least the early model years)
I finally found a photo of the treadplate and I see that it is a black alloy (same as the interior door release lever ?)
Again, I think standard was part leather and part Alcantara
What exactly is 'Matrix' alloy? Is it just a color or something else?

I meant the grab handles, not the door release lever - so question answered
Not so sure about this. I get the impression that the trunk carpet was black no matter the interior carpet. I guess somebody with non-black carpets needs to chime in.

Alcantara wheel became an option for the 010MY, photo of DBS treadplate is clear on page 227, Matrix alloy fascia is shown in the image on pg 143 as mentioned above. Cowl is leather, seat centres and door panels were Alcantara.
