Aston Martin Service

Can anyone recommend a good independent Aston Martin service shop in Houston, Texas? The local dealer's fees are very high

I don't know but I foung a lsit of estimated hours for various types of service on a DB9. The hours for the annual service inspection is 3. The itemized parts & oil for the annual I just had done was abiout $300. If 3 hours is accurate then Star charged about $1500 for the labor!!!

I think they charge in the range of $120/hr. I am also in Houston looking for an independent dealer to service my car.

Bringing this thread back to life as I'm now looking for an independent shop in the Houston area to perform annual service and repairs. Does anyone here know a shop or two that you've taken your AMs to and would recommend? Thanks in advance.

Alan,

Sorry I'm not of much help but sometimes it's just worth it to pay the little extra to have someone service the car that knows what they're doing. I have learned that most times a cheaper shop always ends up costing me more in the long run. I service my own car so do not bring it into the local AM dealer but the guys on this board that do, have had very good things to day about our local dealer. To be honest I can't think of one pleasant experience I have had with a service station that is why I started working on my own cars around 15 years ago. I even took a Porsche dealer to court and won way back in the early 2000's. I guess the point I'm trying to make -- if your local dealer does good work, I would stay with them regardless if it costs a little more.
