^^$59k is an amazing deal, I searched for about 7 months (Jan - July) and havent really seen anything like that, esp not at an AM dealer...I may have missed it though, as I was looking for an SS trans...But havent even seen anything that low run through Manheim..

Great job CTP..

I have seen nothing pass through Manheim so who knows what pricing is actually like right now.

I am going to be carless again in ~1 month when the Mini goes back so not really much time to shop around unless I want to rent something for a month or so.

Out here in SoCal, the prices seem to be higher that what i've been seeing in this thread. 07's are all in the low-mid 70's without much dealer cooperation on any budging.

SoCal can be one of the worse markets to shop for luxury vehicles specific to price. SoCal can be one of the best markets to shop for luxury vehicles specific to weather, wear and tear.

If you are willing to search nationally in some cases you can get a sweet enough deal outside SoCal and save enough in the sale price to pay for shipping the car. SoCal is the car capital of the US and most vehicles there are at a premium...just do something like Kelly's Blue Book or Edmunds trade in value for the same car...one with a SoCal zip and the other with a Midwest or northeast zip code and you will find the SoCal value higher.

I know, historically I have had a lot of my cars shipped in from out of state. Saved a TON in the past, but I have been bitten more then once. Its just a little rough here because I don't want to get a car with a bad clutch or heavy paint damage the sort of stuff.

Standard domestic I can do the clutch for effectively nothing but my time. Paint is the same sort of thing. Clutch on the Vantage, 2-3K for parts, tons of time to fix paint that would be hard to repair if I have to.

There is a dealer in Texas that I have been talking to though email who has a few good ones for sale. Seems trustworthy, will report back if I find something.

I actually bought my car off eBay for 61.5K from a 3rd party dealer who took it in on a Ferrari. It had a minor accident (backed into a pole, full repair bill came with car) and had full service records. It is a all Black 06 V8V with 12.5k Miles in NY. I was willing to pay a little bit more as it was close to home (Boston) rather than having one shipped. I searched for well over a year and this was the first one that I had found that i could buy with a fully documented service history for under 65k.

It had minor issues (Tires, some leather pulling, road rash on rims) but all the mechanical parts checked out fine.

The two eBay auctions listed were re-listed later, and they had BIN prices in the 65k range. The no-reserve auctions almost ALWAYS have a "Car is listed for sale locally and this auction can be pulled at any time" caveat - which is a sneaky way for them to do a no-reserve auction but still get what they want.

Have my 07 for sale jet blk/saddle, yes the miles are higher which is reflected in my price, but the clutch is done, as were the brakes (yes including e brake pads), tires are like brand new nibs still present on rears, and no leather pulling issues, rims are free of rash. Car runs great and I just did the service a few weeks ago.

It does look like a very nice car. Although I would point out that the MMR is only as good as teh data so the variance depends on what's been sold. If you play with the odo numbers you'll find after a certain threshold, it does not change (eg over 17k for an 07 Vantage). My guess is that this just reflects that v few high miles cars are sold. If you punch in 17000k the MMR readout is the same as punching in 25k or 40k or 100k. I don't think that accurately reflects what people will pay for cars of that mileage. That said, for me just finding a car from someone on the forum is a plus in the 'well taken care of' column.
