Replacement instrument cluster cover

What's the going rate for a replacement instrument cluster cover? The leather on mine is peeling back and it's annoying me. Who has replaced theirs?

I don't know the cost for the item, but I do know that it's really easy to replace, as opposed to the leather near the windshield vents.

Tahoe-

Try Sarah Maynard (http://sarahmaynard.com/home), as she can get these in London for less than you can here. She is doing my complete interior, and can change anything on the console/entertainment/nav that you want done.

Some parts are around three hundred dollars and I don't remember the labor cost since they installed them at the same time I got the AM power pack.
( I had to replace the one closer to the windshield and the big one on top of the speedo )

They need your vin# so they can match your color.

The leather can be re-attached (mine was re-glued). I don't believe you would need to purchase a new piece.

I guess but the problem in my car was that the leather was shrinking, so I have to replace the part with the plastic that comes with it.

I know this goes against popular opinion but I think Sarak Maynards Aston Martin bits are a complete rip off and dont look all that great IMO

....and that's fine. Everyone has a different idea of what works for them. My point was that she does bespoke pieces, as well, for any part of the interior. The buttons and ***** are a small piece of what she can do.

I know a number of folks who have changed the whole look of the interior by going with a contrasting color or facia to "personalize" the interior.

Tahoe M3 would something like this be of interest

Its made of the finest twill with special autoclave technology. Its meant for a DB9 but maybe it will fit a Vantage. Are they the same covers?

Although that seems nice, I've noticed that most carbon fiber instrument binnacle covers are usually made in a no gloss, satin finish to prevent reflections on the windscreen. I wonder how bad the reflections would be with this one.

I see your point KF. Just tested it in the sun and there is not any discernable reflections from different angles. I think the shape of the windscreen is important and if it has a fine mesh to heat the windscreen which can limit reflections. Looking at other binnacles for other makes they are all gloss as well. But ofcourse it depends how 'glossy' they are.

It's very easy to pop the cover off, I think all I did was pull up on it. Pulled on the leather and put some super glue. Is it perfect, nope, but I can't tell since it's at the front towards the windshield.
