How Long Do Aston Owners Keep Their Cars

I'm curious to know how long Aston Martin owners keep their cars, before selling or trading them in? I realize this is a pretty broad question, as everyone is different, and all situations are different. I'm one of those people who has a tendency to keep my cars for a long time, but I'm always interested in knowing how long the very informed members of this forum keep their cars, and the reasons they decide to sell or trade them. Thanks in advance.

Based solely on emotion, I plan to keep my car until I die because it is my first sports car. + it'll be nice when I'm older to have a vintage Aston I've owned my whole life.

Also, I've had it for less than 2 years and put 17K miles on it with no issues, so I don't see a reason for people to sell because they don't hold up well.

I've had my '06 V8V for five(ish) years. Nearly 17K miles on the clock, and not a single issue worth mentioning.

I'll probably keep it forever -- or until I no longer have a place to store it.
As I see it: It's not worth anything, so why not just keep it?

Realistically, even though I love my car, I'd probably look to replace it in maybe 5 years. I buy cars used to save on depreciation so by then, used models of cars I can't justify at the moment will be more in my price range. I'd consider getting a 2012 V12 to replace my 2008 V8. I'd love to think that I'll have this car forever but I know at some point, I'd want something newer down the road.

I'm going to replace my 2007 V8V with a V12V as soon as I can afford it... & I'll keep the V12 forever.

I'll keep my car forever. In my experience, "forever" typically lasts about 5 years.

said I would never get rid of mine, but upgraded after 3 years . . . & now 1 1/2 years in - my eye is starting to wander again.

It's always a great experience once you sit in the cabin - I'm always grinning ear to ear!

I kept my 2007 V12V for close to 5 years. Just got my V12V last Saturday and plan to keep it forever.

Inasmuch as we're all different, it's interesting to hear the various reasons Aston owners keep their cars, or sell/trade them after a period of time. I have a tendency to keep my cars for a long time, but as time goes on I occasionally have a roving eye for something different. Since the Vantage was introduced in 2006, I have not seen a better looking sports car on the road for the past 5 years. The Vantage has a timeless design, and is becoming a classic in its own time. Just my opinion.

2007 V8V, bought it new, 4 yrs - 21k miles, then sold. Great car & experience - bought a 356C since BD 4/5/6 is too $$ for me - old school/restoration for new fun project.
Maybe a used V12V or DBS some day ...

Which car did you have 5 years ago?
I'm thinking you meant a V8 Vantage and upgraded to a V12 Vantage.
