Recommendations on wide width driving loafer?

I have a habit of putting a hole in my floor mat where my heel sits. Normally I wear an oxford, so the heel has a pretty promninent edge. I've been looking for a dress driver's shoe but have had little luck finding one in a wide width. The Cole Haan Venetian is wide enough, but the 12 is too big and the 11 is too small (I usually wear a 12 5E) - it doesn't come in 11.5W. I tried the Ferragamo 12W but it's still too narrow.

Anyone have any suggestions?

How about just getting floor mats with a reinforced pad at the heel section? I've got them in my STi and my V8V and have no issues with wear, and it'll allow you to wear any shoes you want at any time.

I would recommend buying some very thin soled shoes and using them when driving. I often wear some laced Plimsolls and the throttle feel is improved considerably. You can really be precise on the throttle around corners etc and it improves the driving experience. Furthermore they are hardly wider beyond your feet size.
