^^^ I think you picked a nice platforms the V12 stuffed in the compact and lighter weight vantage body! Definately the most factory hot rodded car Aston has put together, like a shelby...big motor, little chassis!
I think with the mods you want to do you are on the right track to getting a car that you want with the mix of performance and road manners, lighteing it up a bit will help and the hp mods will help more, so it's a win-win!!

Racer_X: Since you've been there, done that (with your V8V) I think that you will agree that its a step by step process. Once you change the cats and the exhaust, (perhaps then even the air filters and ECU)... my guess here is that you will be quite satisfied with the final product.
