Thanks In Advance

With an Exige there is no CENTER rearview disability due to the intercooler. Plenty of owners daily drive them - just have to use the side mirrors.

I've tracked the Evora in the dry AND in the rain. The car handles Excellent in the rain and has no issues....a little water doesn't hurt the engine.

i only scanned through this thread, but from what i got out of it... i'd say Bentley. i'm only 5'7" 160 lbs and i fit perfect in my V8V. i've given rides to a couple friends that are tall or larger guys, and they didn't look too comfortable.

like MichaelD said, you're looking to impress people, so that rules out the Nissan. he was spot on in what he said (quoted below).

so yeah, out of the V8V, GT-R, and Bentley, i'd recommend the Bentley.

But interpreting what you've said a few times, it seems you want the car that is likely to impress the most people.

That immediately rules out the Nissan, car guys will know what it is, but everyone else will think its a sporty version of the Nissan Micra. You'll always be making excuses for it. And when women see it, most will think its just fugly

Aston is definitely the coolest brand, but if you're big, it might not look right on you.

Bentley is differently impressive, whereas the Aston Martin means James Bond, Bentley means wealthy businessman. Its big, comfortable, and remarkably quick. Nobody could ever describe it as attractive, its too bulky for that, but its impressive.

Like Aston Martin, Bentley have never made a cheap car, so telling people you have one of those two will be OK to pretty much any any group of people.
i agreed with you up until the last line. something something Cygnet

Oh yes, unfortunately you're right. They did make a cheap car, but at least they charged a lot of money for it

I wonder where you're located -- everywhere I've been, there are FAR more Bentley Contis than Astons of any kind.

Sounds to me like the Aston is not the car for you. Your priorities would be served best by the Bentley IMO -- you get the prestige and the easy, effortless performance. Also, while I would never put 22" wheels on any modern car (R-R Phantom possibly excepted), PLEASE don't do that to an Aston Martin!

Hey just a minute, the Lotus is English, how can you think an English car isn't built for the rain, they would never sell any at home if that is the case

well that was my budget but i can always go more for a better car witch i stated in my first post i can go 100k+ if its worth it so bentley is in my budget and the lotus i probably wont fit in that as i am too big, the thing that attached me to the gt-r was all the hype and no i would never put 22's on the aston, but bentleys ive seen alot and it doesnt ruin the look maybe the performance a little but gotta give up something to make it look nicer, i am pursuing a few bentleys as of now and i have ruled out the v8 vantage unless when i test drive one it changes my mind then who knows. i know bentley maybe an older persons vehicle but i where i live it doesnt matter im in calgary, canada i have only seen 3 bentleys in my whole life time in this city but i have seen 8-10 astons db9 and vantage just last summer alone. is there any competition to the Bentley?

Hmm, only 3 he?? Sounds like your Bentley will be in the shop waiting for parts, A LOT... I am somewhat underwhelmed by the styling, AM definitely raised the bar for that one.

175 mph and sub-5 to 60 isn't slow... Just use the gearbox and the 4.3 is plenty quick. No, not outrageously fast, but much better than "doesn't go fast."

What part of the city are you in? maybe in downtown you may have seen them, but in my area there are lots of aston's but regardless each one of its own stand out maybe rims, exhaust, etc. so that isnt really an issue . i just want a nice car that people can appreciate and that i can go in it everyday and not get bored of it.

I'm in the NY area. There are 4 Conti GTs (plus an Arnage) within a half mile of my house. Mine is the only Aston in my town that I know of. On the local roads there are FAR more Bentleys than Astons.

The Bentley should serve your needs very well -- it's a beautiful car. Glad to hear you wouldn't put 22s on an Aston
