In looking for the rattle inside my drivers door I have been able to get everything loose and off the door panel with the exception of the cable from the inside door release handle to the lock on the end of the door. Any tips?

There are two clips on either end of the cable end. You have to open them up and then slide cable up out of groove.

I stopped by my local shop today and the tech just happened to have a door apart and showed me what I was doing wrong. I didn't pull hard enough on the metal door handle to separate it from the soft door panel. No wonder I couldn't see where you and irish07 were telling me how to disconnect the cable.
