Aluminum Radiator

Grille is a pain to keep looking perfect! ...so the big front "signiture" grille on the Aston that covers the radiator seems to get splattered with bugs, gets marks of hard water drops, grime, dirt... etc...etc... what's the bet way of keeping the front grille on my db9 spotless and clean? Is there a trick to it, what materials/products to use? etc... it's so many slats and getting in there takes time...what do you guys do?

Was almost thinking if there is a way to take it off the car and have it coated with something so hard water marks and grime don't stick on there???

Sunir, I've found a couple of tricks that help keep the grille looking good on my '06 DB9, (the older style with more slats and even smaller spaces in between).

First I use a soft brush to get all the surfaces clear of dirt & bugs. Then when I'm finished washing I use my leaf blower to dry the car, especially around the grille, hood & side vents, wipers, wing mirrors, door handles, and wheel nuts. That seems to solve the water spotting problem, and I don't get any of those 'drive away' drips that seem to attract dust.

Can't help you with the dead flies on the grill..hehe duck-tape a large frog to the front grill..lol j/k)

But being serious, for the water drops I can help..I've used Rain-X on the grill, water drips off with to trace of water spots..when water spots start re-appearing, apply Rain-X again

LOL giant frog on the grile...RIBBITTT!!!!

I like the Rain-ex idea that's brilliant...I will have to try that!! The hard water marks (like when you drive her in the rain) end up almost ghost etching onto the flats of the shiney grille horizontal slats and are hard to remove once dry since they were on there when the car was hot and cooled down as the car cooled down and hence leaving a watermark residue, hoping that rain-ex will clean them off and keep them off!
