Thoughts on these wheels..

Just picked up my 2005 DB9 a couple months ago and I'm having mixed thoughts on the chrome wheels. I have never seen another AM with these wheels. I have always been a fan of black and chrome (I'm american) but I'm torn on this car..I would love some opinions..

I like this OEM style wheel (better than the later DB9 wheels), but not in chrome. I prefer the original silver painted finish.

Chrome wheels are not appropriate on the DB9 (IMO)... & I'm from New Jersey!

I think chrome wheels would not look appropriate on your DB9, and I am an American.

OMG

We just did some black/gunmetal ADV.1s on a DB9, really made the car look fantastic. I will try to find pics.

Thanks for the replies. Like I said, I'm a new AM owner so forgive me for asking what might be a dumb question, however do you guys think the chrome wheels that came with this car (pictured) were "chromed" by a previous owner? Did Aston Martin offer this wheel in 2005 chrome as OE?

On a side note..Im absolutely in love with the car. Black on black, 16,000 miles, 6 SPEED!

Chrome might look ok with the right set of wheels. I'm not a big fan of those particular wheels, but it could be allot worse. If you like the look of those wheels, but not the chrome, there are options out there.

If your not sold on those wheels yourself, ***** and moan about them to the dealer and you can probably get an additional discount since "you will HAVE to replace those wheels before you do ANYTHING else." ;-)
