The driver is lucky to be alive. The article says that the car is a "James Bond Aston Martin" but it's a V8V.

 

We will have to be wary of that one when it shows up on eBay as "used Aston Martin with slight paint damage in need of TLC".

Seriously that's a horrific wreck, thankfully the driver is ok!

 

That is just some buckling of the Knautsch Zones... small detail a few hours R & R (rip & replace) and everything is brand-new again.

 

Article says they were both 'hired' cars which means rental for us. I find it odd they were both rentals and they didn't know each other - either that or really just sheer randomness. Glad to see he's alive when the car looks like that, gives me more confidence
