Hi. I just purchased a 2009 V8V roadster from our Atlanta dealer and take delivery this week! It's replacing an 07 C4S Cab that I sold a couple months ago. Details on the car...

Hey Jason, your neighbor here. Congrats again on the car, welcome to the Aston forum, and happy birthday! As for your question, no idea as to updating the maps of the newer systems.
Here's a link to the Volvo DVD set that you need to up date your maps from Navtec. Haven't bought/installed these myself but it's the newer version of the maps for the 'Volvo-sourced' nav on the older Vantages.
Post some pics when you get a chance!

Yes they work to upgrade the HDD-based system. If you are a member on the AMOC forums there is a great thread on the Vovlo DVDs where one of the posters (GlynV8) did an amazing set of sequential photos with accompanying instructions for going through the upgrade process.
Here's the link but I think you have to register (free) on AMOC.org to view. It's on page 19 of that thread.

After some research, looks like that is the wrong link for HDD systems. Here is the one I found and hopefully works!

Tried picking up the Volvo DVD from the dealership yesterday.....they apparently don't stock them as they claim to only sell about 1 a year. Anyhow, buying from Volvo is more expensive....their list price is $285 as compared to $199 if you buy directly from the Navteq website.
Btw - plan to take the car up to Lanier Saturday to do a shakedown cruise with the Sunsation. Let me know if you guys are out and want a ride!
