Has anyone successfully installed a Parrot Audio system in your V8 Vantage using the NAV TV module to interface with the car's optical fiber audio loop?

I'm having an installer work on this for me now. They've had the car for about two weeks and cannot seem to get the NAV TV module to work consistently. When it fails the car's audio and air conditioning systems do not engage because controls for both go through the fiber optic loop.

My V8 is an 07, with premium audio but no navigation option.

Has anyone had success with the NAV TV module? If so, how were you able to get it to function?

Does anyone know of an alternative to the NAV TV module to interface with the V8's fiber optic system?

Any assist is appreciated. My installer has worked with NAV TV engineers, who have supplied now three different firmware updates. All of these guys are ready to throw in the towel. None can figure out why the module is not working consistently.
