Finding power

I have an '07 V8V and am looking to hardwire my Passport redline. I'd like to tap into the driver's seat power, but don't have a wiring diagram. I've used this source on other vehicles and like both the easy access and fact that it's timed/keyed power.

Has anyone tried to use the power seat as a source for keyed power, has anyone deciphered the wiring looms beneath the driver's seat. Thanks in advance.

I got what I think is your desired result, but went at it a different way. I have a DB9, but I think the design is likely the same. There are three fuse boxes in my car- engine bay, trunk (not boot...we're in the U.S. and there’s even a translation from the Queen’s English in our owner’s manual…so funny) and below the passenger foot well. I used the latter...just pull up on the carpet & you'll see the door screwed in by those hexagon screws.
I used a fuse splitter (actually bought with my Redline...but you can get at any auto parts store), and found a fuse that was tied to the key so my Redline starts & stops with the car....very convenient. I also recommend the mute button as I use it often.

Good luck!

P.S. Might I recommend a Laser Jammer as well?….Radar is only half the battle. I’m in CA where they are illegal, but my research showed Laser Interceptor to be far & away the best….although a professional install is recommended….so I hear. J

Thanks, piggy backing a fuse in the footwell is plan B. I was hoping to keep everything simple on the driver's side.

I too am trying to figure out a way to hardwire my escort on the drivers side.

I have the K40 installed with laser diffuser but it does not pick up near as fast as the escort....
