The exhaust tone on S is really rewarded to the whole exhaust system, from the headers to the rear muffler all have been redesigned, only parts carried over is the small pipes between the center section and muffler..headers/catalysts/center section/muffler are all redesigned for the S that give that nice tone, some of these parts have been transfered to the new 12.25MY Vantage..

BTW, if you need a Aston mechanic in FT Laud area, when your ready send me a PM and I have a good guy for you..no worries there
Ive never gone to far with modding my cars, but yes it is extremely addicting. Wth the extra savings by buying a 4.3L, it would give me extra cash in hand to do extensive modding. What other tuners are out there, like I have said I have little knowledge of aston martin aftermarket companies Ive seen RSC tuning and Bamford Rose.

And I will definitely PM you when I'm ready for that name and number when I am ready. So hard to find someone you can trust to work on your car especially when fit, finish and quality are so high for a car such as this.

JvMorrow--
If you test drive a 4.3L, try to get them to pull out Fuse 22. This will keep the Exhaust open all the time and show you the nice sound the 4.3L will produce Stock at WOT

I know this is slightly premature but I figured no Vantage or Vantage S I will be replacing the wheels. The car will be either white or black, but I probably will end up going white.

I will be going with the HRE P40SC wheels, in black(if the car is white).

My question is, is should I go with 20x9 front and 20x10 rear? And will I need spacers for front and back?

20x9 & 20x11 or 19x9 & 19x11 will be on the spot. no spacers required.

With the ECU tune the acceleration out of corners was also great to about 180-200+ km/h. Brakes were great, I did not notice significant fade but replaced my fluid last week and recently put on the porterfield pads (my rotors are blue now tho lol). The suspension could use some tightening however but as you say, there is lots of play there in the price difference to tweak your car if you buy a 06-08.
Aston.Ca-Add the sport pack as your next mod and it will remove your suspension concerns (and add some nice wheels)!

Funny you should mention that. I actually have the sport pack 10 spoke wheels with new Bridgestones ready to go. And I have a line on a set of V8VS dampers and springs (pulled new from a 2012 car that was modded on delivery) along with the front and rear anti roll bars. The only thing missing are the suspension arms Price is around 3k, I'm hemming and hawing on that but it is tempting. As I understand it, the suspension on the S is v similar if not identical to the Sport pack.
