I'm particularly interested in comments from those who have owned both a V8V and an R8.

Is the sportshift on the Vantage similar to the R-tronic transmission? That is, a bit clunky in traffic using the auto mode, but not bad in manual mode? Is one better than the other?

How do they compare as far as attracting attention? With the R8, people are always taking pictures, etc. Not as bad as my GT3RS when every kid in daddy's Bimmer wanted to 'race', but still lots of attention. So far, nothing bad though.
