CD Player on a 2007 V8 Vantage

Newbie on the Forum and with V8 Vantage
I have a 2007 second hand model, and have noticed that I can't read ripped CDs on. Have you guys experienced the same issue. Are there any ways round that ? Maybe I'm burning copies of my CD in the wrong format ..... Thanks for any tips....

The CD player cannot read MP3 files. I use iTunes and make an audio CD. Kind of sucks as you only get around 17-19 songs total. Hope this helps.

Reason why they are crap are bc they are Volvo parts. No joke, the Same GUI for the GPS in the Aston was in my 2005 Volvo XC90. And yes, CD player was the same. Be careful if you have a CD changer in the head unit as over time my volvo's CD changer jammed the CD's so they had to replace the entire changer. Gorgeous car though and sport exhaust sounds amazing. Enjoy in good health.

kicking up an old post, but curious, can the aston 2007 play dvd-cds.

Reason I ask is since the navigation is dvd format, wondering if it could play dvd-r which can hold a lot more
