Greetings,

New guy here. I was wondering if there were any independent service shops in the East San Francisco Bay area (Oakland/Berkeley) that are AM competent. I've been figuring out my next car and have started to obsess a bit over the AMs. Looking into dealer maintenance costs has me a little leery. Any recommendations?

I don't know anyone in that part of the Bay Area for certain, but if you aren't able to find anyone closer I would recomment BR Racing in Los Gatos. Probably an hour's drive though...
