Current pricing on an 07 V8V?

I may be parting ways with my '07 V8V and checking to see what people have seen or sold theirs for recently. Here are my specs:

2007 V8 Vantage Coupe
16K miles
Tungsten Silver
Obsidian interior with white stitching
19" optional wheels
Manual transmission
Satellite navigation
High spec alarm
Premium audio
Bluetooth
Red brake calipers
Bright finish grille
HID headlights
Heated front seats
Cruise control
Memory seats
Garage door opener + auto dimming mirror

I also recently had the annual service done.

I had a 2008 with same miles and spec as you.

Traded it in for 70 and saw the dealer list at 83, so probably willing to take 78 or so. Private sale 75K for 2008, so 65-70 for '07 would be my guess.

Thanks! I'll advertise it higher to leave room for negotiation.

I just bought a 2007 and did a lot of price research. I paid $67,500 (plus shipping) for a 1 owner 2007 with 8,000 miles, optioned similarly to yours, and the RSC Vantage C power package ($10,000 in aftermarket parts counting install). It seemed to be by far the best deal of the cars I've been watching, all things considered, and it did take them a few months to find a buyer. Most of the ones I've been seeing similar to yours are listed at the 70k price point, but I'm not convinced they're selling for that. Personally I'd likely have been willing to pay around 63k for your car based upon what I'm seeing in the market. Just one man's opinion. :-) Some may pay more.

Thanks for that data point, and sounds like you got a great deal!

These cars are becoming very affordable. I'm very much in a debate between 2007 vs 2009 but am likely to add one to the stable in the spring. Low 60's for a 2007 is just such a damn good deal for such a beautiful car!

Your car is stunningly beautiful. Love the clear taillights addition to the 2007, as well as the Tungsten exterior. I actually prefer the 2006-2008 rims more so than the newer 4.7L variants as well. If your car was sport shift (I'm 6'6'' and simply do not have room for a clutch in a Vantage), I'd consider jumping the gun and making you an offer. In any event, good luck with the sale, but be sure you have your next car lined up b/c I'm sure you will miss her .

I was at my local dealer yesterday and caught up with spec's - - looks like most of our cars are worth about 8 to 10k less with Aston offering a few options as standard, along with lowering the base price of the V8 to $125k Cdn. Backup camera is also being offered on 2013 models.

While great for people buying a new car, doesn't help our residual values, especially next year when people go looking for cars & can get into a new car optioned at $137k Cdn with full warranty.

Good luck

Yes the new price for a Vantage has come down and that is great for a new buyer, although it may just mean the dealer now discounts them less than previously and the prices are now closer in line to what demand is.

Same thing would hold true for the value of used cars, a person will buy the car at what they perceive the value to be at, and the seller will let it go where they see fit. Supply and demand. I do not see how a lower base price (that it may not even sell for) would change things for the used market.

Allen-you should ask around the forums to see if someone can run a manheim (sp?) report for you. It will show prices paid for you.

How can it not?

Well - at least North of the Border - this seems to be the case and will really affect used prices, more so in 2013, when dealers are flush with the new cars.

I asked the dealer for the "best trade in price" for my car, and was truly shocked how much the car was worth. (MINT condition, fulled loaded and low milage) The salesmen pulled up a listing of over 20 cars for sale (dealer & Private) which backed up everything.

Gekko-you quoted part of my post. Reread the entire thing. Dealers were not selling them at list price.....they simply lowered the list more in line with what they were getting for new cars.

I regret not getting an '09. I would have liked the additional 40HP, Sports Pack, updated interior, and the crystal ECU. I would spend the extra money for the '09.

I appreciate the insight and will definately take it into consideration. I'd be ok with low 80's perhaps for a lower mile 09 in the spring and realize I'll take a little larger depreciation hit perhaps, but the 09's seem to be holding thier value better than 08's and 07's so far for obvious reasons.

BTW, how much is a clutch replacement (SS) on an Aston at an indy? About $5.5k? Last about 20-25k miles in SS?

Lowest I saw a Vantage was like $59K ... but dunno what shape it was in, the thing could have been junk for all I know, was like an old one...2006 model year. I was looking for Astons back when I did a search for Vantages FS on autotrader prices lowest to highest nationwide initially then quickly realized I wanted a DB series car instead so I started looking for DBS before finding my rare 6spd Manual w/ Sport pack equipped DB9 which drove too closely to a DBS to pass up, love the rumble and growl of the v12 Astons!
