Makes me really want one. I thought he summed it up nicely when saying its not all about the performance numbers, but about how rewarding the car felt in its entirety when driven hard.

Great and honest review - man that car looks fantastic in red!
He hit the nail on the head when he talked about the "feel" of the car.

I was set on that color or merlot but ended up with tungsten. If not forthe black vents, I would have ended up with one of those hues. Of course when I toured the factory, they said they would have painted them if asked. Bummer.

Thanks for the link! Best Aston review I have ever watched, bar none. I think in general that the automotive press chases raw performance numbers too much, and forgets that most cars are driven on the street in the real world. This guy clearly gets it, and he has summarized why the V12V is such a great achievement, judged solely on its merits as a drivers car, without needing to fall back on cliches like 'class', cachet or the 007 connection.

I seen a few painted on cars (via Forums) and they never look right (at least to me) Thanks for posting, nice to see some footage as the V12 makes it way around the bends.

spinecho - Agree, so tired of hearing the standard cliches . . . nice to see the car judged purely on it's own merits.

ON ANOTHER NOTE:
They do list this car as a 2013 Coupe (in the another post, it was suggested production might stop on the coupes for next year) But then again, the narrator did also say it was a 5.9L while showing the engine cover of 6.0 . . .

Great vid. Thanks for posting. I like the quote "Big engine, small body, three pedals." Sums things up quite nicely.

Its a 2012. I drove it at the Estate this year. I liked it so much I am picking up a 2012 V12 later this week. There are no 2013s for the US.
