No B&O -

It's an '09 - no B&O system - I'm pretty bummed about that, but hopefully the engine will make up for the auditory stimulation I'm missing from a primo sound system.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, I'm sure you wont be going over 55 in Maryland anyway!

You will absolutely love your DBS - nothing more elegant.
I shared your concern when I bought mine that had 15k miles on it. No major issues and car runs pristine. I don't believe in extended warranties - don't have them on any of my cars listed in my sig.
As long as you got a PPI, inspected the interior and exterior and test drove it within reasonable speed, you should be fine. Congrats!!

I wouldn't worry too much, the Alpine system is nearly as good and you get Carbon-fibre door caps, which aren't a feature of the B&O cars. They also launched the Touchtronic II gearbox for the DBS around the same time and virtually every one purchased the auto. The manual is now quite rare (aside from the early cars) and this should help balance future values as the stick shift is still the enthusiast's choice.

Enjoy your stunning new car

I've been craving a DBS....they are terrific and glad to see you got the 'right' transmission with it. You're going to have lots of fun and draw every ricer in an STi for miles around with that one in a way the Porsches never would.

Thanks guys - I'm starting to get used to her today. I will definitely miss the fun-factor the 997 Turbo has always delivered me.... but I think the DBS will manage to fill the void.

@ Sunir - yes we should find a good spot to snap some pics before the weather gets too wretched. Quick question - do you know of a good technician in Maryland that you trust? I'm trying to get my Maryland State Vehicle inspection done next week... no Aston dealer in MD unfortunately... maybe just bring it to the Porsche dealer?
