I was thinking for a convertible. Or even if coupe work with a clear shot to the rear windows. Rather than 2 cameras to maintain.

I have a Thinkware F770 Pro in my Vantage, and an F800 Pro in my A5. Both are front and rear (separate small camera for the back window, connected via USB to the front), both provide great pictures. The F770 is a bit older, so this advice probably won't be useful, but the newer models use a different mobile app that is WAY better, so I'd recommend the newer ones over the F770.
Here's a timelapse I made from the F770 (aside from a few cars at the start, everyone was moving over for the Aston, so I wanted to commemorate that ultra-rare event in video):
