QuantumV8 is infamous around these parts
Hey Rhern, I looked at this a few years ago, didn’t get too far but my lines actually seem to have improved / reduced over time

Got it thanks, seems like that points to it being a different problem from the delamination.

A couple things. First, I think those vertical lines have to do with the display and not the layers of film on top. In my car, I was able to get rid of them by reducing the brightness of the display. If I increase the brightness, they appear, obviously only at night. Second, the gauge display and infotainment display are close to the same size but not identical. I've had them both out several times trying to replicate the manufacturer's polarizing tint. There are two layers over the glass displays. One is a polarizing film set at 45 degrees and the other is a very dark, probably 10%, tint.

Unless you see wrinkling in your displays, I would advise against trying to change anything.

Thanks, yeah I'm leaning towards leaving it alone it doesn't have any wrinkling. I'll try adjusting the brightness and see how it looks. Maybe try the old literal massaging the pixels trick.
