Beautiful vehicle and I love the wheels. Pittsburgh has a British car show coming up and I can’t wait to attend!
I was just out in Eastern AZ and I was going to do that road from south to north. AS I approached the area, I could see a large fire burning on top of a Mesa and the valleys were filled with smoke. I bailed and continued east into New Mexico. I do want to get back out there and drive that road as it looks like a nice stretch. I am sure you enjoyed it. How was the traffic and did you run it on a weekday or weekend ?

South to north is the way to go. On the day i was there the valley air around Safford was smokey/dusty but once i got up to Three Way and Clifton it was fine.
It was a hoot to drive, beautiful area after you get past the mining operations and into the mountains.
I did the drive mid-week and once into the mountain twisties i was the only one on the road! At one point i just stopped on the road (no shoulders at all), turned off the car, got out and spent 5-10 minutes just enjoying the view and taking pics (also listening for any approaching cars/bikes but none appeared). Clifton starts at about 3,800 ft elevation and the drive tops out at 9,150 ft or so, highly recommended.
