Search for CarPlay rear view mirror on AliExpress, I picked mine up for AU$80 delivered. Works great!
I’ve got an iPod to Bluetooth adaptor in the armrest for high quality audio paired up to my phone too. Also grabbed it from AliExpress for AU$80, way cheaper than the Bovee and works perfectly. Connects directly to the connector in the console (doesn’t need the original iPod cable adapter).
The combination works brilliantly. Nav and media controls on the mirror, and high quality audio through the AM sound system, including next/previous controls from the steering wheel.
Using the factory Bluetooth phone system for calls.
i use the rear view mirror for cameras and is easily adaptable to Nav and android auto...I never use the built in screen...i can also stream and use alexa for voice control of music and nav and home automation, garage door, alarm etc.
alot can be done to upgrade a wonderful analog car!
I had mine wired for the reverse cam also. I originally bought a Secane Mirror (about $150) from Amazon and had it wired for the reverse cam ($500) as my 2011 V8 Vantage did not have reverse cam featured. The image washes out, so I got a different brand to try out (same issue) and gave the Secane to another Vantage owner (for free) that also got his hardwired.
The Apple Car play works great as well as reverse cam and dash cam features, These mirrors washout in daylight and act more like a larger rear view mirror which is also better. If a phone call comes in, it defaults to the mirror mic and speaker, so to revert back to the radio I have to turn off and on the radio again.
Overall - a great cheap add on that works very well.

not a fan of the clip on mirrors...
I like a stock look and the mirror I added is adapted the same size and fit and mounting bracket...
Sometimes to much info on the rear view mirror can be overwhelming
It is so amazing looking. Almost cartoon proportions with the small greenhouse and huge mouth. Some serious presence.
Agree, it’s just epic. Aston’s have a presence that others just can’t replicate, and everyone seems to love them.
Having just spent 2000km driving around Tasmania and enjoying every moment behind the wheel, it has me convinced that in the next few years I need to make a modern Aston Martin my daily, ideally a DBS (if they continue to depreciate the way are) or perhaps a DB11.
I finally replaced the 07 that was totaled in January, with this 06 manual with 28K on the odometer in August. I have been remiss in not posting a photo since then. So far, zero problems and just a few previous owner catch up items.

My first was Tungsten, this one is Meteorite. Tungsten showed nothing. Meteorite shows everything like it is nearly black, so I am giddy with anticipation of the Tampa Bay area pollen season getting started. Its like having a wrap in lime green and yellow for a month and a half....and that was on Tungsten...car is great though, very basic. No power mirrors. No dimming mirror. No cruise control....interesting swap for sure.
