lol! Me too. What happened was - the wife stepped in and asked for another vehicle, which pushed my purchase back 2 years. I didn't jump fast enough.

But seriously - if Ford is still in the mix of their engines, I would feel better than if they had their own engine plans... I'm not suggesting Aston can't make one, just that my history of Fords suggests that they detune their stuff so much, that it is EXTREMELY safe for the long term (as long as Aston touches everything else - I'm good).

I must admit, a GT500 engine is not one that worry about breaking. Just like the Mercedes, BMW, Volvo engines that appear in the Pagani, Ascari, Noble, Koenigsegg, etc...
