Ok I get it now. The matte ('satin') finish on the new limited edition V12V is an option pulled from the new paint options ushered in with the Vanquish.

Yes, good write up and pics. Is there a video with it? The ancient browser I use here at work does not play well with some modern websites. If someone can post a direct link to the video I would be grateful.

 

I'd have to see it in person but I know satin gray cars look pretty good. I think the V12V would look much better in the satin gray or even orange than the black.

 

Looks like the transmission may be a disappointment. I wonder how long it will take Aston to get a DSG or sequential automatic put in.

Vantage S has a true sequential 7speed manual, perhaps with a software update it would be perfect. It's the same Gaziano gearbox essentially as the Egear Lambos, just newer 7spd version.

 

They should offer this with a manual.
