V8V Reverse "Groan"

Hmmm, this is one I haven't seen before.

I've got a 2007 V8V and occasionally while in reverse I'll get a nasty groan from the car (almost sounds like a sticking emergency brake or something)

Thoughts?

Is this when the car is backing up straight or are you turning when the groan appears?

Both.

However the more I think about it the issue is greater when turning.

When turning in reverse, its caused by the limited slip differential. Usually a fluid change with a friction modifier solves that problem.
