I found out yesterday the Vantage S prototype car was called Johnny 450 by the Engineering team at Gaydon.
Apparently the proposed intake manifold looked like Johnny 5 from the film Short Circuit
The car developed 450 BHP hence the Johnny 450
Here is an CAD drawing of the proposed intake manifold
Unfortunately the twin throttle intake never made it to production
so the S never got 450 BHP
However this one will have 550BHP so it seems fitting to call it Johnny 550!
