2006 Aston Martin Vantage, turned off and hard restart

I just recently bought my 2006 Aston Martin Vantage with 14k miles. Car has given me no problems, until last night. I wasn't driving the car hard and was actually at very low speeds, the car turned off. The first time it happened, I thought my wife did something in the car to shut it off. The second time I was coming to a stop at a red light. Also, the second time it shut off, it was very rough on the re-crank. Seemed to not want to start.

Has this happened to anyone?

Any thoughts of what this could be?

Thanks in advance

Brent

I checked the battery and it is fine, what else should I check? This is a new car to me, and do not know all the things to look for.

As you know it will be either ignition or fuel, and from the minimum symptoms it's very hard to tell which. When these things happen the engine almost always throws an error code, so I would take the car to an Aston Dealer and have the technician read the codes. Hope this helps.

That's pretty low mileage for a 2006. Has it been sitting for awhile? Could be that the fuel has deteriorated.
