How much discount is reasonable on Vantage S
The MSRP was 152k. It is Onyx black with black.

Very nice Tim. Congrats!
The factory offered the dealer additional incentive to make the deal happen. I have to believe that you could score a similar deal on any left over 2012 S cars now . . . I also think that AM is being very aggressive with cars right now.
However, I'm not sure how deep they'll be willing to discount a car that you order in light of standard MSRP reductions that have gone into place . . . that's a discount on top of a discount.
I am talking to my salesman today, we have a buyer for my AM), I'll get his input and get back to you.
I've been offered Virages 40k off when I first walked in the door. I have seen Vantages at 20 off, with cars that stick around dropping as much as 40k. My problem is most of these cars have boring black or grey interiors, and more importantly for me are not manuals.
for a customized vantage s manual, what's an appropriate discount? for example, the one i built would cost around $163k. is asking for $160k out the door (including tax and everything) a good deal?
A manual S is still not an official factory option (yes I know they have been built) there are very very few out there so nothing to drive a discount with.
I was unaware the factory even made manual S. one if the big benefits of the S is the new 7 speed graziano gearbox. I will never own a manual again. I am officially over them. Looking to sell my Lambo and get back into Aston within 30-60 days. I miss my old girl too much ... Time to finally come back home to a nice V8VS
