How much discount is reasonable on Vantage S
When I purchased a brand new 2013 991 S I was able to get 8% discount which I ordered and customized. waited 3 months till delivery. How much can I expect to get a discount in NJ/PA area on a V8 Vantage S?
I don't know about NJ/PA but in my area (GA) they don't discount a new S much. You may get 4% if you are lucky.
If you are looking for any meaningful discount on a new V8VS, your best bet is to locate a dealer with a leftover 2012 model. In addition to the discount, you won't need to wait months to get the car built/delivered. When I got mine in December, the only deals were on the 2012s, nothing much on the 2013s.
Hey Tim,
Congrats on your new V8V! What color did you order?
Dealers will discount the V8V but not the S. I know this because when I bought my '13 V8V in December I got a nice discount but when I traded it for the '13 V8VS in January I did not get much of a discount.

I bought a left over 2011 early last year and got over 15% discount. The important thing to remember is that each month a new car sits on the dealer lot the dealer has to pay "rent". So, if you are trying to buy a car that is on the lot try to find out how long its been there.
There's no reason you shouldn't be able to get a good amount off any new Aston. As is true with other exotics, like Mercedes, Astons have massive deprecation once it's titled. You try to minimize the hit as much as humanely possible.
I've been offered more than $15k off MSRP on the Mercedes SLS, v12 Vantage and more than $20k off a slightly owned, yet certified 2010 Ferrari California.

Why not look in the used market? Are you looking for something in particular?

I got $25k off a 2012 S in September... I'm sure they knew the 2013 were going to hurt the value of '12s so the discount just made it a fair buy. It was still a good deal on a new car. I wouldn't expect that kind of deal on a 2013 until the 2014s are being discussed.
You can easily get a super low mileage vantage S (12 model) for sub $120k, I have even seen some go for $110k. The cars are dropping fast. They are in my mind the best Aston deal of all at their newly depreciated prices
I suppose it is 2013 model? hmmm 10.7 sounds like not a bad deal especially for a 2013 model and it's not even the one on the lot.
well the local dealer in VA got few 2011/2012 but none of them fits my style. their colors are all too conservative, blk/white/silver. so i've been thinking to get 2013 or 2012.
why are you selling 2011? if you dont asking...

mperez, would you mind sharing what color did you get? perhaps pix? what was the msrp on the new 13 S? since my local dealer got no 2013s and only 2012s leftover I might be able to get a good deal on S.
