Thumbs up Help for my V12V

Hello Guys!
I noticed today that one of my air intake tube clamps was popped apart.
I have tried everything to try and compress it to get the clamp clipped back together, but have had no luck.
I also tried clipping the clamp together while the tube was unattached, and then attemted to force it on, but this was a no go as well.
Is there a special tool or tachnique to get this clamp re-attached?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Just make sure the clamp is lined up in the groove with the tube, there are placement marks.

The clamp is lined up with the groove, but the issue is getting the clamp compressed so it will clip together.

I just use a pair of pliers to refit them, never really had any issue before. Is the metal tab on the clamp still in the slot of the clamp?

Hi AMFixer!
I checked the metal tab, and it was still properly in place. I think that this particular clamp was manufactured just slightly tighter than the proper specification (probably why it was popped off in the first place).
I ended up grinding down a set of hog ring pliers to the same width as the clamp, and it worked like a charm. The hog ring pliers helped to grip under the curve of the clip edges and pop the top clip over the mating edge.
I really appreciate all of your helpful replies.
At least now I have a custom tool for future ease!
Cheers!
