That Vanquish is redunculous. Dear God if they make a convertible with a proper transmission I'm in.

^^^^ I agree; I was wondering the same thing. BTW the car behind is actualy a Virage. It is currently being sold new for $50K under sticker, if anyone is interested.

 

I think they will make a soft top Volante of the Vanquish, but I don't think they will put a proper manual gearbox in there. This said I'd take your MP4 12C over the Vanq if I had to choose one.

As for the orange part of the headlight, I dunno either, same way I dunno way the vanq has red rear tails instead of clears, I much prefer the clear look all the way around as it's come on the DB for years now.

I wouldn't be trading. That Vanq would be a garage mate. I figure I'll be ready in 2 years. I heard that a GT version of the Vanquish with a twin clutch trans was in the discussion. I can't imagine that AM will only have touch tronics for the big cars going forward.

 

i was told they aren't planning a manual for the Vanquish - but i'm guessing the Vanquish S, whenever announced, will have a dual clutch and clear head/tail lights. just a guess, of course.

 

An "S" trim???? Aston Martin never makes "S" models of there current line up vehicles......
