It's a 08 roadster w 39k miles. The miles are a bit higher than I want but has all options that I need.

It will be my daily driver.ill put about 8k miles a year on it.

What to look for when I test drive?

IMO exotics with higher miles better, specially if you going to make it your DD i feel they get reliability by driving them. Again IMO.

Congrats! I think there's a good thread on here with literally a list of things to look out for (or maybe it was just a link to a pistonheads post). I would definitely make sure you see the service records...if the previous owner neglected some of the items through the years, you could easily be stuck with a 3-4k bill a few months after you bring it home. If you can't find an independent shop with specific AM experience, I'd just eat the 500 bucks AM Beverly hills us asking... they'll know exactly what to look for.. it's what they do all day everyday. (Just IMHO)

This year at 40,000 on my 07 Vantage Roadster, I had the clutch replaced. Last year I had the brakes and rotors replaced. Both are big ticket items that you should check on the service history. I daily drive mine and put about 8,000 a year also. Congrats

Really its just making sure proper service has been done and finding out when the obvious things have been replaced last: clutch, brakes (pads and rotors), and tires.

The only thing to check is to make sure everything on the entertainment system works, including AM radio, since that seems to be something that has a high failure rate and requires replacing the whole thing to fix.

Don't worry about the mileage as long as it wasn't all done on a track.
