Help talk sense into me
HA! That's funny, Sunir. Do you think this group is REALLY ready for a Pizzafest? I dunno....you know a Pizzafest is all about good times with virtually no structure. Surely to rankle those that want things done in a proper manner.
I like the Rolls Phantom idea. I'd be stylin'.......

I think they are! I think the enhusiast community needs another pizzafest. I will have that decal on my racecar from 2003! it has always been on my quarter window all these years!
You should def put another one together, maybe at Summit so it's closer and more poeple can make it. Maybe in conjuctin with another group's track day...by invite only or open to registrants. Whatever you think is best...yes pizzafest is about GREAT times and loose structure, but it's one of the best times I've had for a track weekend ever in 10+ years!
OP,
It's a shame that you aren't enjoying your Aston and, if that's not likely to change, you should get something different. About the 991, it's a great car. But...
IMO, the 991 is less fun to drive than the V8V. I found the 991 to be extremely competent, but it wasn't until I pushed it VERY hard that it became really fun. At less than seriously high speeds -- much higher than can be used on the road except very rarely -- it was just not exciting. It felt like a fantastic car, but not a particularly fun or involving one. To a large extent, I think this is because of the serious lack of steering feel, due to the electric power steering (a massive shame, especially in a 911). Until you're pushing it VERY hard, there just isn't much steering feel.
To me, the Aston is more fun more of the time, as it is a true event, and full of feel, at low speed as well as high speed. Also, mine has been completely reliable.
Best of luck with your dilemma.
