V12vs- wow
Having had 07 Vantage for 5 years and having driven both the V12V and the new Vanquish, I will say that there is a large difference in 'feel' of all three cars. I like small, nimble cars and it blew me away how much bigger the Vanquish felt compared to my V8-- the much more powerful V12 could not compensate for the size and underlying handling. Even the original V12V did not corner as well as I expected due to the increased weight-- again the power difference was not enough to motivate me to "upgrade" cars, ( even though I really appreciated it having a manual transmission.) Perhaps the V12VS will give us "sport car fiends" both power and exemplary handling--looking forward to giving it a try. However, I most likely would not buy a V12VS without a manual transmission, something that I love in my current car, and plan to have in my next car. (56 years and holding.)

Don and Racer,
My "debate" comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek and was about the somewhat off-topic turn toward a discussion about wheelbases from a discussion focused on the V12VS. Because off-topic turns NEVER happen here

Gotcha......no worries!

The more I look at the details on this car, the more I LOVE it. Pay close attention to the finishing, the carbon detail around the hood, the dark tail pipes.
This car is a very different car. It's a fantastic addition to the Aston family.
I have to admit I really, really want one.

Just an excellent car! I have to agree that I have not converted to paddle shifters yet... just no where near as fun and you lose a connection with the car. Definitely performs faster, but I'm okay with losing some milliseconds.
Forbes just did an interesting piece on it: http://www.forbes.com/pictures/egdh4...v12-vantage-s/
