Rapide or DB9 emissions light stays on when its warm outside...

Hey guys has anyone had any problems with a DB9 or Rapide with an emissions light that only comes on when its warm outside?

Dealer is giving me the run around but its been doing it for 2 years on and off and I think they don't want to fix it cuz its still under warranty... Just think it will be a bigger issue down the line...

get the codes read. even though the display only says it's an emissions error, there are often other codes not displayed.

i have a CEL on my V8V for emissions. the dealership pulled the codes today and i have codes for the thermostat, intake temp sensor, MAF, and "Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance" (whatever the hell that is), as well as emissions.

edit: if you don't trust what they're telling you, have them print out the "DTC Monitor Results."

Yes, I got check emissions warning twice. Tech at indie garage decoded "small leak" Gas cap valve replaced when service bulletin issued. Tightened gas cap with three clicks and more determination, no light. Never happened in colder months.

I live in a climate that's always warm and get this problem off and on. When I check the codes it's usually the same thing a cylinder 10 misfire. I think it has more to do with the gas in the car. My theory is that if the gas is not of very good uquality you get these codes. I usually add a fuel additive to stabilize the fuel and drive the car for about 30 minutes at a regular driving rate and it seems to go away. It could also be a bad oxygen sensor which I might have as well. I found that driving with the paddle shifters doesn't bring up this error.

One more thing. I checked the motor oil and it was at minimum-no light came on to indicate this. It was at minimum.
