I have seen for sale, a 2010 v8v with the original 5 spoke lightweight forged wheels. I have also seen a 2010 v8v with the 10 spoke graphite diamond turned wheels. When did they discontinue the 5 spoke?

What do you guys like on a lighter colored v8v?

If memory serves, 2010 was the last model year that the 5-spoke wheels were on the options list -- you could order the Sports Pack with either the 5-spoke wheels or the 10-spoke wheels that year. IMO, the 5-spoke wheels are the best-looking wheels yet offered on a Vantage (or DB9).

I couldn't agree more about the 5-spoke wheels! Besides being a characteristic of the Sports Pack on my DB9 I don't feel the design will ever become "dated".

I agree, best design, although the vantage S wheels are starting to grow on me. The vantage S wheels do come in better offsets and are wider in the rears so you can run slightly wider rear tires so that helps

Yep! I think they are in the timeless category for Aston OEM wheels! The Virage had a slightly wider version for a very short time.

Just attended a function at the Aston Martin Villa in Monterey yesterday and discovered there are rims I had not seen before. And most definitely "yes", I wouldn't mind having them as well as the various cars they were attached to!! I am so sorry I'm unable to post any photos yet. Am hoping to receive photos later taken by someone else.

Not sure the Virage wheel you reference is a version of the sport wheel as it was just another style of wheel offered on the Virage. It's also a 20" wheel.

Christiaan0922, I couldn't agree more as I'm very happy with mine....Now the stock exhaust, that's another story. Giving that some thought!

^^ talk to the guys at Fabspeed. They do an x-pipe for my car, pretty sure it would fit on your DB9? Good place to inexpensively start? It doesn't make it any louder but, they claim 30+ bhp and 30+ lb-ft increases. I'm going to do a rear muffler as soon as my CFO turns loose of the cash.....
