I recently puschased my first Asotn Martin 2008 DB9. I found on the way home that at high speed the drivers side window does not seal resulting in wind noise and rattling.
When the drivers door is closed - the window does not quite align with the rear window.
Is there a fix for this problem other than a visit to a main dealer?

I have an 05. I get noise from how the mirrors are designed. Drives me nuts some times.

 

Wind noise is the root of all evil. The window glass needs to be adjusted. This can definitely be a delicate and time consuming process especially if you haven't done it before. If adjusted too far in one direction it can actually break the glass when the door is closed. I would recommend a dealer visit because if nothing else if they break something they will be responsible for it. good luck with it.

 

Many thanks for the info, guess I will take ot to the service shop for adjusting. The rubber sleave next to the mirror is also damaged assume I'm better leaving this to the shop as well. I'm thinking at some point the automatic window drop when opening the door handle has failed and damage to the seals has occured because of this.
